Ice off at Strawberry!

Jayson Toerck was in studio this last weekend and had been up to Strawberry fishing the little bit of open water starting to appear on the lake and brought us in some tips and information, as well as some great pictures of his adventure! Fly fishermen should try brown or dark green wolly buggers and shore fishermen should try small spoons and ice flies casted right to the edge of the ice and retrieved slowly as the fish are coming into the shallows and moving slow. Slight bumps on your line are often fish so really slow things down and feel for anything that feels like a bump. Here are some of the great fish Jayson caught!

He also headed back up with his wife Trish on Sunday and caught another nice bunch!
